We need to raise a total  of £280k.  Here are some of the ways we can do it …

  • Junior Ilkley Harriers: has raised £23,000 to date
  • A £50,000 Sport England Community Asset Fund grant has been applied for
  • Ilkley Carnival has made us the sole beneficiary of this year’s Ilkley Carnival, donating £8,600 (news article)
  • Ilkley Parish Council has granted  £7000 for the javelin area
  • A Member Investment Loan will be launched later in 2017
  • Various funding opportunities are being investigated eg Ilkley Round Table
  • We will look at ‘Crowdfunding’ to kickstart the project in the community
  • Further fundraising efforts such as ‘Buy a metre’ of the Track, ‘easyfundraising’, etc.
