Thank you to Ilkley Parish Council for granting £7000 specifically for the construction of the javelin area of the CATF.
The junior trail races at this year’s Ilkley Trail Race raised £178 for the CATF.
Thank you to everyone who took part and to Rachel, Bryan and all the volunteers for organising the event.
It’s now been announced that Ilkley Carnival 2017 raised a record £17,200 and as primary beneficiaries the Junior Ilkley Harriers will receive £8,600.
The club is delighted to be receiving such a generous donation which will fund the installation of the shot put area on the proposed CATF.

We’ve launched this new website ilkleyathletics.org.uk dedicated to the Ilkley Compact Athletics Training Facility as momentum is really growing on the project now and there will be lots of news!

The Ilkley Carnival committee has announced the Junior Ilkley Harriers have raced ahead to be named primary beneficiaries of this year’s ‘At The Movies’ themed May Day event.
After an online application process and a shortlist of several presentations, the committee voted in favour of the Junior Ilkley Harriers receiving half of the 2017 profits raised on 1 May to go towards building a Compact Athletics Training Facility for aspiring, young LS29 athletes.

Juniors: you are invited to take part in the Carnival Procession. The Junior Ilkley Harriers theme is ‘Chariots of Fire’ – dress in white shorts/trousers and top, fake moustaches optional!
Junior helpers and parents: please come along and help set up on Sunday 30 April and/or take down after the carnival on Monday 1 May.
